1001 EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCES

TWA - 1001 EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCES

Our new campaign for Tourism Western Australia showcases 1001 Extraordinary Experiences from the great state of Western Australia, in an interactive film and website.

Each experience is captured in a photo, all 1001 of which were selected from thousands submitted by the community of fans of Western Australia, from all over the world. It’s been an immense but really special task to curate them in a way that tells a story about how truly extraordinary a state Western Australia is.

Watch the interactive film and browse curated images on the website, or join the conversation on Facebook.

#IndigenousPM

We’ve just launched a campaign for the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation with creative partners The Glue Society.

Newspoll data says that two thirds of Australians believe they’ll never see an Indigenous Prime Minister in their lifetime. AIEF believes that we can, and are invested in addressing the issue at its core by reducing Aboriginal secondary education inequality in Australia.

Find out more here, or join the discussion on Twitter at #IndigenousPM.

Host Appoints First ECDs.

Congratulations are in order to Bob Mackintosh, who this week has become Host Sydney’s first ever Executive Creative Director, and Noah Regan, who picks up the same role for Host Singapore.

Thirteen years ago Host established an identity as an agency without a creative department, and while we continue to grow a modern creative department with a long list of collaborators around the world, it’s great to have two extremely smart  people heading up teams in each of our offices.

Here’s to 2013′s creative output being more prolific than ever!

Lend Us Some Muscle.

The creative industry has lent their creative muscle to Kaija Wall, the Broadcast Production Director at Host Sydney.

Kaija’s son, Jai, has been diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia, a rare genetic disease. Sadly there is no cure, so to raise awareness and more importantly to raise money to help fund research, Host and a few pals have created a campaign called Lend Us Some Muscle.

We’re asking people to show their support on Facebook, share our video and lend some financial muscle with a donation

Just Add Zero.

Our new campaign for Coke Zero turns the idea that zero means nothing on its head.

The campaign centrepiece is a TVC, shot in Buenos Aires and soundtracked by Diplo.

Check out the TVC and keep your eyes peeled for an enormous activation through social media.

Prepare For The Best.

Everyone wants a happy and secure future, yet most people don’t adequately prepare, they just hope for the best.

Our new campaign for financial services specialist BT aims to prompt people to take action and prepare financially for the best future possible.

You can view the first TVC online here.

Hello Host Singapore!

It’s a huge day for us as we announce the launch of Host Singapore, with founding clients The Coca-Cola Company, Tourism Western Australia, and more to be announced shortly.

Singapore is the first of several regional hubs for Host, with plans in the works for Shanghai and San Francisco in the near future.

Host Singapore is ably headed up by MD Dan Gibson (ex Ogilvy), and Host’s growth sees a number of new faces and promotions in the business. Anthony Freedman takes the role of Regional CEO, BBH veteran Paul Ward joins us as Regional COO, Olly Taylor assumes the role of Regional Strategy Officer, Suzie Shaw steps up to take on the role of CEO Sydney, and Laura Aldington returns to Host Sydney as MD.

Join our fledgeling team at Host Singapore on Twitter, and stay tuned to hear about the brilliant work they’ll be doing in the coming months.

Bounce.

This year we’ve been busy with our creative partner Parlour, helping Berlei spread the word that sports bras are crucial for women who are athletically inclined.

‘Bounce’ is a fully integrated campaign including Cinema, Out of Home, Print, POS, Digital and TV – check out our TVC here or head over to Bounce HQ to find out more about the best way to protect your breasts.
