We are ten.

This month, we received the first print run of a book we put together to celebrate our first ten years.

We’re really proud – both of the book itself, and the story it tells about how we became the company we are today.

Have a look at the time lapse video below from the shoot – where we staged a garage sale featuring items from some of our most memorable campaigns. Next time you’re in the office, have a read.

Oasis Youth Support Network – 32,000 To Go.

In 2009, Host began working with The Salvation Army’s Oasis Youth Support Network on a pro bono basis. Together, we set out to raise the profile and understanding of youth homelessness, and get people to see it as an important social issue that needs their support.

Our aim was to recruit individuals and businesses from the community to share Oasis’ goal in reducing youth homelessness in Australia. We wanted to show that this isn’t a problem that can be solved by governments alone – it takes compassion and support from individuals at a community level to really make a difference.

The result was a public awareness campaign called ’32,000 to Go’.

Yahoo! – Think Tank.

Yahoo! - Think Tank

This campaign was designed to educate advertising agencies about the creative potential of online media. To do this we built a living, breathing Think Tank manned by some of Australia’s highest profile creative teams, ready to accept briefs and solve them live via web cam under the watchful eye of the creative community. Almost 20,000 visitors from around the world viewed the site during the 14 day live period.
